UGSA was established in January 2009 as an inclusive society with the aim of improving the standards of care of women with Urogynaecological problems through education, teaching and research. The society is aimed at all doctors and allied health professionals interested in Urogynaecology. We are a lively friendly society open to members from Australia and New Zealand.

We are allied with and supported by the RANZCOG and with the International Urogynaecological Association [IUGA].

The Pelvic Floor Surgical Database is an online tool provided by the UGSA Advisory Committee to gather data relating to this subspecialty for the purposes of providing the UGSA members with statistical reports which aim to raise the standards of care and understanding for this field.
